Cyber Security

A practical, hands‑on programme covering defensive security, ethical hacking, and security operations. It begins with cyber security foundations, Linux and Windows security, and network defence including firewalls and packet analysis. Students learn the ethical hacking methodology: reconnaissance, scanning, vulnerability assessment, and reporting on authorised lab targets. Web application security covers the OWASP Top 10, SQL injection, and secure authentication. Security operations modules include log monitoring, SIEM fundamentals, incident response, and malware analysis. Governance topics include risk management and security policy development. The curriculum culminates in a capstone project where students conduct a security assessment or operations exercise. All offensive techniques are practiced only within an isolated virtual lab environment. Graduates are prepared for entry‑level roles such as Security Analyst or SOC Junior.
