This Privacy Policy explains how BrainTech R&D Innovazions (RC 9544747), Lafia, Nasarawa State, Nigeria ("BrainTech", "we", "us") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use our website, Academy, Store, Community, and Innovation Hub (together, the "Platform").
Account information. When you sign up, we collect your name, email address, and phone number through our authentication provider.
Profile information. If you complete your profile, we collect details such as gender, date of birth, address, city, state, country, study mode, education level, years of experience, current job title, skills, preferred industry, relocation and remote-work preferences, portfolio, LinkedIn and GitHub links, a short bio, and emergency contact details.
Academic and activity data. Course enrollments, assignment submissions, grades, quiz results, class attendance, and progress through lessons.
Payment evidence. Proof of bank transfer (such as a receipt or screenshot) that you submit to confirm a course or order payment. We do not collect or store your card or bank account numbers — payments are made directly to our bank account outside the Platform.
Store and order data. Products you order, delivery details, and order and payment status.
Content you create. Community posts, comments, likes, innovation submissions, votes, and collaboration requests.
Technical data. Standard log data such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, collected automatically to keep the Platform secure and working correctly.
We share information with a small number of service providers strictly to operate the Platform:
These providers only process your information to deliver their service to us and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes. We do not sell your personal information to anyone.
We use session cookies set by our authentication provider to keep you signed in and secure your account. We do not use cookies for third-party advertising.
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Platform, resolve disputes, keep accurate financial and academic records, and comply with our legal obligations. If you request deletion of your account, we will remove or anonymize your personal information except where we are required or permitted to retain it (for example, financial records of a completed payment).
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures — including encrypted connections and access controls tied to your account role — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The Platform is intended for users who are at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent in their jurisdiction if higher. We do not knowingly collect information from children below this age. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can remove it.
