Terms of Service

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep it up to date. Accounts are created and authenticated through our identity provider, and each account is assigned a role — Student, Instructor, Researcher, Vendor, Investor, or Guest — which determines the features available to you.

You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account and for keeping your login credentials confidential. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

• Enrolling in a course requires payment approval (see Section 3) or, where applicable, being granted access by an instructor or administrator.
• Instructors are responsible for the accuracy of the course, class, and grading content they publish, and for grading submissions fairly and in good time.
• Assignments, quizzes, and grades you submit or receive form part of your academic record on the Platform and may be reviewed by instructors and administrators.
• Attendance for physical classes, where offered, is tracked by instructors and is not a substitute for any formal accreditation unless explicitly stated on the course page.

Course, store, and other paid items on the Platform are currently settled by manual bank transfer. When you submit payment evidence, it is reviewed by an administrator and marked pending, confirmed, or rejected. Access to a paid course or an order only unlocks once payment has been confirmed.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the payment evidence you submit. Submitting false, altered, or fraudulent payment evidence is a serious violation of these Terms and may result in immediate suspension of your account. All prices are shown in the currency displayed on the Platform and are subject to change without prior notice for items not yet purchased.

Products listed in the Store are sold subject to availability. Placing an order does not guarantee stock; we will notify you if an ordered item cannot be fulfilled. Order and payment status can be tracked from your dashboard. Refunds and returns, where offered, are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact us using the details in Section 11.

The Community feed and Innovation Hub let you publish posts, comments, innovation submissions, votes, and collaboration requests. You retain ownership of content you post, but by posting it you grant BrainTech a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, and distribute it on the Platform.

You agree not to post content that:

• is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, hateful, or sexually explicit;
• infringes someone else's intellectual property or privacy rights;
• contains malware, spam, or misleading claims; or
• impersonates another person or entity.

We may moderate, hide, or remove any content, and suspend accounts, at our discretion, where we reasonably believe these Terms have been broken.

You agree not to:

• use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law;
• attempt to gain unauthorized access to any account, system, or data;
• copy, resell, or redistribute course materials, products, or Platform content without written permission;
• interfere with or disrupt the Platform's operation, including through automated scraping or overload of our systems; or
• upload viruses or other malicious code.

The Platform, including its design, branding, course materials, and software, is owned by BrainTech R&D Innovazions or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of that material to you.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, or created risk or legal exposure for BrainTech or other users. You may stop using the Platform and request account deletion at any time — see our Privacy Policy for how to do this.

The Platform, its courses, and its content are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any course will lead to a specific job, income, or certification outcome.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BrainTech R&D Innovazions will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms will not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any dispute arising from these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nasarawa State, Nigeria.

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the Platform or applicable law. We will update the "Last updated" date above when we do. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
